Harvest privacy policy
Last updated 24 September 2026. Applies to the Harvest app on iPhone, iPad and Android, and to harvest-crop.web.app.
What Harvest keeps
- Your account: your name, email address and a user ID, from the Google or Apple account you sign in with.
- The records you type: your farms and land details, crops, harvests, assets, expenses, earnings, payments and the names of the people you deal with, facts and reminders.
- Your settings: units of land and weight, and appearance.
Harvest does not collect your location, contacts, photos, device identifiers or browsing history. It shows no ads, runs no analytics and does not track you across other apps or websites.
Why
Only to run the app: to sign you in, to keep your records and to show them back to you on each of your devices.
Where it is stored
Your account and records are stored with Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore). They are sent over encrypted connections and stored encrypted by Google. Records are also kept on your device so the app works offline.
Who it is shared with
Nobody. Harvest does not sell or share your data. Google processes it only to host it for Harvest. Data may be disclosed only if the law requires it.
Keeping and deleting
Your records stay until you delete them. Any entry can be deleted in the app, and deleted entries can be deleted permanently. Settings › Delete account removes your sign-in and permanently deletes every farm that belongs only to you, with everything in it.
Children
Harvest is made for farmers and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
